SPONTANEOUS ENERGY INTERVENTIONS

Our emotions surge and flow in response to our thoughts, memories and situational cues. They tell us how we feel about those thoughts, memories and cues. E-motion means ENERGY-IN-MOTION. Emotions are our energetic feedback system. They help guide us toward what feels good, healthy or positive and away from what feels bad, unhealthy or negative for us. Our emotions are our intuitive guidance system.

Just as clouds naturally know when and how to release rain, our bodies know naturally when and how to relieve stress and tension. In our case, these are automatic, reflex behaviors.

When our emotions surge, our bodies naturally perform stress-relief techniques which support energy flow and balance. Physically, "It's just this thing I do when I'm nervous/excited/angry/ stressed…." These spontaneous gestures are energy wise. They comfort and relax us so that we may cope with (and survive) our stress. I call these natural gestures E-Moves.
